Great grandfather Ethan William Allen. Ethan William was the father of Hazel Ida (Allen) Short. Henry and Ethan were brothers and were the sons of Aaron C. Allen born in Louisville in 1812. His father was also name Ethan, born in 1782. His father was a revolutionary war vereran named Sgt Aaron Allen (married to Lucy Train, both from Athol Mass).
