This stone was instrumental in first confirming that this was the Ethan Allen whose wife was Aseneth. A major problem had been trying to sort out all the Aarons and Ethans. Second it gave us a death date, though we had to partially dig the dirt from the front of the stone.
Together with the obituary of Sidney's brother Henry A. Allen, we could then determine the parentage of Aaron C Allen. Ethan was the missing link in all this.
