You may have noticed that I do not use the "timing" issue in my presentation.

His timing was 2000 years ago. Just like salvation. Actaully I do not think the WoF people invented this. I am fairly certain that non-WoF and even the critics of WoF often use this as an arguement against "healing is in the atonement".

If healing is in the atonement, the timing is now. The deciding factor is the presence or absence of faith.

As brother Asaph pointed out: since faith comes from God and is not the result of our own actions... then the question comes down to: Why is faith not present in some? As you pointed out Jim (I think it was you), if faith is there, then so will the healing be.

I have always presented this: If you have faith you always receive. If you do not receive, then it is because faith is not present. So the question is: why is faith not present? One reason is because of the topic at hand. Failure to believe that healing is included in the atonement will prevent faith from coming. Talking sides against the word of God short circuits the entire process. There are many other reasons why faith may not be present. But the first step is to realize that God is not one of those reasons. His will was established in the garden and on the cross. Eliminate that cause and you are 90% of the way there.
