10 Reasons why Christians fail.
1. You do not know what it means to believe. You therefore
do not know how to believe. You "try" to have faith. (which you will find
is an odd statement.... trying to have faith is like trying to know your
own name, you either know it or you do not). You agree on a mental level
with the tenants of Christianity. You have memorized verse upon verse.
You may even have been to seminary, become a minister and recognized as
a leader in the Church. All the while you know your faith is weak, and
you are actually a failure. A phony. You are failing because your of your
misunderstanding about what faith is and what it means to believe. I will
teach you what it means to believe, how to believe, and how to make that
faith work for yourself and others.
2. You are failing to speak out of your heart, and are speaking out of you head rather
than speaking out of your spirit. Faith is of the heart rather than the
head, and 99% of your words original from your head. Your words therefore
are powerless and fall flat. Your words are devotional, even ritualistic.
Most of them express the correct doctrine and have the correct sound. But
they are as dead as inscriptions on a tombstone... and you know it. I will
teach you to speak forth out of the spirit of Christ in you. Your words
will be words of spirit and life. You will cause the world around you to
conform to the image that Christ would have it be.
3. You are failing to differentiate between compassion,
sympathy, and feeling sorry for people. Compassion is what empowers
faith to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, and raise the dead. I will
teach you what it means to have compassion, to channel that compassion
into your ministering, and use it to empower your faith.
4. You are failing because you do not know what it
means to pray in tongues. You are failing to utilize the power source
that recharges your spirit. You have not seen that you can and should pray
in tongues every day of your life. I will teach you about tongues, and
how to stay strong in the spirit.
5. You are failing because you have not learned to
prophesy. You likely have old Pentecostal ideas about tongues and prophesy and have not really understood what the Bible says about these abilities.
Every believer can and should prophesy. The Bible commands it and you should
follow. I will teach you what the Bible says about this massively misunderstood topic and free you up to begin manifesting these gifts in your life.
6. You have failed because you have not perceived what
belongs to you in Christ. You are like a pauper who is unaware that
you won the lottery last year. Because you do not know what is yours you
do not act on the promises of God that have been made good to you. A promise
made good is no longer is a promise.. it is a possession. I will teach
you what belongs to you and how to take advantage of it.
7. You have failed because you have not discovered
that you can live completely free of sin and the world. You have been
deceived by the devil that you have to sin and it is a struggle to not
sin. Not sinning is easier than sinning. It is work to sin... it is freedom
not to. I will teach you, and you will be convinced, that you are to live
completely free of sin in this life. With that conviction will come strength
to live holy and righteously. Not from a legalistic, religious spirit;
but from the spirit of Christ that is in you.
8. You are failing because you have a warped
image of who God the Father is, what He is like, and what your relationship
with Him is. The world has been deceived into thinking that the Father
of Love is an ogre. They present Him as a monster who loves by hurting
and killing. They blame Him for every evil and sorrow that occurs. They
make Him out to be someone who is second only to the devil in cruelty and
meanness. You fail because you have (to one degree of another) fallen into
this trap and so do not really know how to approach this God who says He
loves you, yet wants to hurt you. I will teach you to step blindly into
His love and unwavering compassion. I will call upon you to cast aside
your fears and believe Him when He says He is love. Not a warped, sick
love that hurts and rejects.. but a true love that accepts, saves, heals,
and delivers.
9. You are failing because even though you think you
know the Bible... it is highly unlikely that you have rightly divided the
Word both in content and priority. Very few people have come to me
and been able to recite what the 6 foundational doctrines of the Word of
Christ. These teachings are spelled out exactly in the Word.... yet the
church seems to be ignorant of them and what they mean. The word tells
us in no uncertain terms that we will not go on to a higher, victorious
live if we do not first learn this basic truths. I will teach you these
basics and you will (as many have) be stunned to see how little you knew,
and how confused you were.
10. You are failing because of the power of fear in your
life. Fear of God, fear of sin and it's consequences, fear of men, fear
of the devil, fear of the future, fear of the past. Fear on every side
overwhelms you. You fail because your obsession with fear in your life
short circuits your faith and your love. Fear is of the devil and this
is the prime weapon he is using to defeat you. You will defeat him by faith.
Faith can overcome fear rather than the other way around. Fear is the belief
that what God said is not true. Fear is of the devil because it denies
the reality of what God said. I will teach you to overcome fear by crushing
it and the devil with faith spoken Word.
