WOF doctrine does not dwell on the receiver and what the believer can get out of the deal, WOF doctrine dwells on the giver and His integrity. What did God say and what is He like? Can we deny it simply because our experience does not achieve that truth? I have no choice but to proclaim the love, mercy, and redemption that He has supplied. The testimony of my experience is relatively insignificant when compared to the declaration of His absolute goodness and integrity. I am healed, saved, delivered, and prosperous regardless of what I feel or experience. He did it. You are taking experiential "sight" knowledge and attempting to define God, His nature, and His will... when you should be taking His word and defining your reality by what He said. Why don't all WOFers have their experience match up with what they profess? It could be many reasons. Could be they have it in their head but not in their hearts. Could be that like you, they have God on the wrong side of the equation. They are saying; "I have things because I want them and God will give them to me" when they should be saying; "I have things because God loves me, gave them to me, I believe in Him, and I known what He said is true." I have no choice to be blessed when He already did it. I am denying Him and His work when I say I am not blessed in all things. In the end, who are you going to stand by? Forget the results and what you want. Just consider Him and His integrity. Who do you love and who will you believe? He did not lie.... regardless of what we see and feel. If the contents of His truth results in my being prosperous... that is cool. But in my mind that is secondary to the declaration of Who He is, what He has already done, and His love. WOF is about the declaration of His truth in the face of all that appears contradictory. You do not need faith to believe in sickness, death, and poverty. You get these things with no faith at all.
