God never says NO to
prayers.
A Faith
Manifesto Getting your mind right
about God, Prayer, and Faith:
- God hears all prayers that are mixed with faith.
- God does not hear prayers not offered up with faith.
- God does not say "no" to prayers not mixed with faith simply because
they never reach Him for Him to say no.
- You can only have faith that He hears you if you know it is
His will for you to have what you are asking for.
- If you do not know for certain that it is His will for you
to have something, you cannot ask in faith, and you cannot be
sure that He heard your prayer.
1Jo 5:14-15
14 And this is the confidence
that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he
heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we
know that we have the petitions that we desired of
him.
People have a misconception that the deciding
factor is in Heaven. It is not. The will of God is set. There are no exceptions.
The gospel is the same for me and for you and for everyone ever born. The
deciding factor is within yourself. Can you beleive? If you can, then you will
always receive. If for whatever reason you cannot or do
not believe... you will not receive (aside from a sovereign act of mercy
from God). So the answer lies not with the position of God... it lies with
why can you not beleive. The reason you cannot believe is not
always bad or not always your fault or even a fault at all!!!!!
- Sometimes you cannot believe because you righteous heart cannot believe
for the evil thing that you are asking for.
- You cannot believe for drugs, prostitutes, murders, or the multitude of
evil things that grieve your reborn spirit.
- You cannot believe for evil things that are not only outside the will of
God, but are also obviously outside the nature of your reborn spirit to
believe for.
- Sometimes people cannot believe because they simply do not know the
will of God. If they do not know the will of God on a matter, then they do
not have confidence that He hears them and so they cannot have faith.
- Sometimes it is a matter of sin. Yes sin sends your spirit into
darkness and in that state you cannot believe or have faith in prayer. You
must be in the light to have fellowship with the Father and you cannot have
faith when you are out of fellowship. This does not change
God.. He still wants you to receive, but you are preventing your faith from
working because of these things.
- Sometimes it is a matter of erronious teaching. We see in the NT people
who suffered attack by satan simply because they possessed elements of
doctrine that refuted basic gospel truth. Even if they did so in ignorance,
that did not matter. This does not change God.. He still
wants you to receive, but you are preventing your faith from working because
of these things.
- Sometimes you cannot believe because of a wrong relationship with your
wife, or parents, or others that are a part of your family. This does not change God.. He still wants you to receive, but you
are preventing your faith from working because of these things.
- Sometimes is it a matter of reaping what you sow. If you sow corruption in
the flesh, you will reap corrupion of the flesh. It is a law. This does not change God.. He still wants you to receive, but you
are preventing your faith from working because of these things.
- Sometimes faith needs to be energized by love. You cannot just pump out a
prayer in a flippiant manner and think that it is going to work just because
you throw out words into the air. You have to believe, and it is love that
believes all things... This does not change God.. He
still wants you to receive, but you are preventing your faith from working
because of these things.
- LOVE BELIEVES ALL THINGS. I cannot stress the importance of this. If you
need to believe, love will do it. Faith that works through love avails much.
Get love and you will get faith. Get the word and you will be getting love
concentrate. This does not change God.. He still wants you
to receive, but you are preventing your faith from working because of these
things.
In no case does God say "no". Never!!
(((Why belief does not come))
There are issues in our own lives that may
hinder our faith or completely prevent you from believing (such as the first
items above). But it is never God saying no. The #1 starting point of faith
toward God is knowing, without a doubt and with no reservation
that He always is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Not
only will you not recieve otherwise, you will not even please
Him. If for no other reason than you want to please Him, go into prayer with
that thought on your heart. HE WANTS TO REWARD ME. If you
do that, you will please Him... which is more important than receiving anything.
If I never received anything, I would still want to please Him: so I have to
believe in His goodness and mercy. To do otherwise does not please God.
Once you proceed from the fact that He wants to answer your prayers, then it is
just a matter of aligning your prayers with the will of God. What does He say.
Where is the will of God for us recorded exactly and perfectly?
>>>>>JESUS<<<<< What did Jesus do and show
in His ministry. He was the will of God incarnate. If you want to see the will
of God... look at Jesus and see what He did. That is the will of God. All the so
called "exceptions" and "failures" to receive from God fall within the reasons
listed above. Paul was infirm because by his own admission He was proud. The
family members and neighbors of Jesus failed to recieve because of unbelief. Job
failed to remain secure because he feared and left the safety of the hedge that
surrounded him. Peter sank when he tried to walk on the water because he feared
and doubted. The Corinthian fornicator was about to have his body destroyed by
satan because of sin. The believers of James 1 did not receive because of
wavering faith. The believers in James 5 had to have sins addressed before they
could be healed. Men have to treat their wifes correctly lest their pray life be
affected. In each case it was not a matter of God saying "NO". In each case
someone (for whatever reason) did not believe. And in many cases this is not a
negative thing. It is just a statement of fact. If I come to your house and
see the soup pot empty and say "I see your soup pot is empty"... unless you were
paranoid or just a nut you would not take this as an accusation of anything! It
is just a statement of fact. If you are not healed or if your prayer is not
answerd it is for one reason only: for whatever reason you cannot believe. The
issue is not with God or even with your integrity. It is a matter of finding
out why you cannot believe. It is not "why did God say no" to a valid
request... (to even think that does not please God). It is "why can I not
believe on this issue." Maybe you cannot believe because the thing you are
asking for is outside the realm of good and perfect things that we can ask for
(i.e. drugs). God would say no to drugs if He heard such prayer... but He
does not even hear it because you cannot believe for it and so the prayer
does not even reach above the ceiling of your prayer room.
