Did God Lie?
If God said no to faith and His word, then He would be a liar... and healing would be the least of our worries.
God does not say no to faith.... Never, Ever!
We just do not know what faith is and what it means to believe.
If the only choices I have are:- God is a liar, or
- I missed it somewhere....
Then there is no choice... God is true.
Let God be true and every man a liar.
God does not lie.
Jesus did not lie.
Whatsoever we ask for in the name of Jesus believing is always and without exception done for us.
God does not say no to the cross.
God does not say no to the name of Jesus.
God does not say no to faith.
God does not say no to His own word.
If you believe God says no to faith... then how do you know He did not say no to your prayer for salvation? How do you know that He will not change His mind and send the righteous to hell and the unrighteous to Heaven? What do you base your faith on if you believe in a God that says no to faith and His own word. If Abraham believed in a God that said no, Paul would have never said this about him:
Rom 4:20
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
If you believe in a God that says no, then you are not only staggering in unbelief, you are jumping off a cliff. You are both denying the gospel that said yes and amen to all the promises of God and denying that the name of Jesus in whose name we pray.
2Co 1:20
20 For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
If God says no to faith in the name of Jesus, then that is just like God saying no to Jesus. God does not say no to Jesus! He is Lord or is He not. IF JESUS IS LORD, THEN GOD DOES NOT SAY NO TO THAT NAME. To say God says no to the name of Jesus is tantamount to denying the Lordship of Jesus!
If you believe that God says no, then you are not pleasing God. This is fundamental to the concept of faith and righteousness:
Heb 11:6
6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Try to fit "no" into that verse.
