Do you believe the Word?
Jesus and the Gospel is the exact and perfect revelation and declaratoin of the will of God. Jesus came to show us the Father. Did He fail? No. Is He hiding something from us? No. I am not caught up in myself... I am caught up in Jesus. He is the word, and He did not leave anything to chance or hidden. This is what makes us believers. This is what makes us CHRISTIANS instead of mere theists who do not know what to believe. To be a Christian means to believe in Him and His word. There is really no mystery regarding His will for us. There is no great seeking or unveiling. The truth is right there and it is Jesus. If Jesus did it, it is because that is what the Father does. If Jesus said it, He said it because it is what the Father says. If you have seen Jesus, you have seen the Father. The perfect will of God for all of us is declared in Him. It is just a matter of deciding that you will believe that God is and that He is also a rewarder (not a denier) of those who diligently seek Him. You can walk around in darkness, unbelief, doubt, uncertainty, if you choose... or you can get caught up in Jesus and begin to believe the revelation of God that He has given us.
I am always in utter amazment that people can read the words of Jesus, see the works that He performed, and still claim they do not know the exact and perfect will of God. Jesus is the declaratoin of the exact and perfect will of God:
There are no more hidden or secret things. Jesus has show us everything there is to know about the Father:
Joh 14:7-10
7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you do know Him, and have seen Him.
8 And Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.
9 Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father?
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The Words which I speak to you I do not speak from Myself, but the Father who abides in Me, He does the works.
Joh 1:18
18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, that One declares Him.
Mat 13:11-12
11 And answering, He said to them, Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it has not been given to those.
Mat 11:25
25 Answering at that time, Jesus said, I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and of earth, because You hid these things from the sophisticated and cunning and revealed them to babes.
Joh 16:13
13 But when that One comes, the Spirit of Truth, He will guide you into all Truth, for He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will announce the coming things to you.
Joh 14:26
26 but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and shall remind you of all things that I said to you.
Joh 10:4
4 And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes in front of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
1Co 2:9-10
9 according as it has been written, "Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard," nor has it risen up into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those that love Him. Isa. 64:4
10 But God revealed them to us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
1Jo 2:20-21
20 And you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
21 I did not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because every lie is not of the truth.
1Jo 2:27
27 And the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and as He taught you, abide in Him.
Not only can we know the exact and perfect will of God, we are instructed to do so:
Rom 12:2
2 And be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is the good and pleasing and perfect will of God.
Eph 5:17
17 For this reason, do not be foolish, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Col 1:9
9 For this cause also, from the day in which we heard, we do not cease praying on your behalf, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
Col 4:12
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you his greetings. He is always wrestling in his prayers for you, so that you may stand mature and completely convinced of the entire will of God.
In the end, we can boast and glory in the fact that we have received the things of God by Jesus.
1Co 1:30-31
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
