If people are sick or impoverished, it is not because God has deemed it to be their fate and so that condition has been implemented in their lives. God in Christ has deemed that we all be healthy, prosperous, and long lived. He does not deal with people outside of the gospel and it's provisions. Our relationship with the Father is established and carried out through the tenets of the gospel, and there is no sickness, poverty, or death in that message.
People do depart from the blessings of the gospel for different reasons. The main reason is because they just miss it one way or another. Because of sin, doubt, or the devil they lose the promises and fail to partake of the blessings that have been provided for them. You could say it is God's will that if you sin and or doubt, then you forsake these benefits. He will let you do that. But that is not His absolute and primary will for you. His absolute and primary will is for you to live a full and prosperous life.
Sin and doubt manifest in many ways. Doubt is sin. Taking sides against the word of God is sin. Failing to act on the word of God is considered dead-faith. So if you take sides against God and the gospel and declare that He has not done what He has said He has done, or if you deem the nature of the Father to be that of a child neglector/abuser, then you have pretty much established your place in the scheme of the family. That in my mind is very close to rebellion. This may sound hard... but it is a fact of life and creation. You reap what you sow. Be it unto you according to your faith. If you go around calling God a child abuser then I am not surprised that you suffer... not because He is going to get you for it, but simply because you are reaping the fruit of your own faith (or lack thereof).
